Dbl. T is infamous around these parts
Default Wide glide tail light issue

Good morning,
I'm hopingvsomeone can help me out.
I have a 2000 fxdwg. I lost my brake and tail lights. Found a fuse to fix the brake light. Still no tail light. I checked the bulb, looks good. I rewired everything coming off of the controls and still no tail light. There are 2 wires, a black and a black red, coming off of the right side but nothing to match to on the harness. What do I do with these 2, and is this my issue? If not, where do I go next? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm guessing you're still using a bulb type rear light, check the socket the light bulb goes in ,ate , sometimes they can corrode or they just don't earth right.....maybe the spring inside is slack and not doing the job.
