Default Three Two Choppers Latest Project

Hey guys,
I posted some pics of some projects in this thread but thought I would start a new thread to show you how one of them is going.

Here is a link to the previous thread if you want to reminisce or check it out.
http://www.hdridersusa.com/custom-sp...e-no-post.html

Here is a pic of the exhaust.

Where the exhaust exits

front view

The Flange (2 into 1 -- two piece pipe....easy to mount and looks sweet!)

nice side shot of the pipe

and a back shot...This pipe is long and sexy and should sound bitchen!!

Here are some more:

A tail light we machined. The front cap, lense and LED aren't on it but you get the idea

Fuel Valve mounted to the motor mount.

The back side shows how we mounted it.

not so much 1-3 in order

More like all tied in first, every builder I can pick a bike that I absolutely love... unless they're not real builders *cough*OCC*cough...

They're my tops because I like every single bike they've put out without fail.

#1 Indian Larry Motorcycles (when Larry was doing the builds, not now)

#1 Shinya Kimura @Chabott Engineering

#1 ___________ (insert 3 2 Choppers here)

but like I said these are my "ground up" tops.... Rocket bob's and Snake bites on here win top class for custom parts BY FAR... Makin stock bikes look like complete ground up builds... blows my mind how they do it.

Man that's sweet, not just the design but the quality of welding etc is just beautifull.

To me, that right there is what it's all about, just so much fun

Hey JC , gonna try to keep this thread from being pirated (like Ben did to you last one ) so errant posts are gonna get canned

What an honor to be listed with such great builders. I've met Shinya but never had the chance to meet Larry...

The rings are indeed the oil bag brackets and yes, it's a shovel.

Thanks, Harleybodei...It's all my brother....I just push the broom...

So, we pulled it off the table today. We still have a small list of details and a lot of welding to wrap up but we are about there.
Here are some more looks.

This is a three rail system we build as the tank mount. It's fully rubber mounted and sturdy as hell. I've never seen a more sturdy tank.

Back shot

cool top shot..Skinny yet fat..

Left side

Right side

That's all I have guys..well at least until it's finished.

One of the coolest builds I've seen you guys do.

Ignore Ben & Bodei, they never get anything

Seriously, that's just so perfect, you gotta be dead happy to turn out something like that

Thanks SK8, I appreciate it.
I've got to tell you something man, My brother read the thread you posted about the Worlds Greatest Bagger and had a picture of my bike on it. He thought what you said in that thread as one of the coolest things he's ever read about us. I went back and read it and have to agree.
Here is what you said, "Well now lemme see. This is a daily rider, has been for years & years despite the owner having one of the greatest (IMO) chop shops in the US. So he had his pick of some stunning cutting edge design but remains loyal to this old scoot and rides it everywhere "

Very cool man indeed.. I've been through a lot with that ol girl....and she is still running...

I might get the chance to build another one for the same customer who this bike is for...
He keeps telling me he wants to buy it and I keep telling him it's not for sale..I told him, The best I can do for him is build him his own...He agrees but we have to finish this project and his CB750 that we are getting ready to do for him..

Anyways,
I'm not worried about their comments, The bike would look great with a wide tire, but the customer gets what the customer wants...I like all tire sizes.. if the bike looks bitchen, it looks bitchen... regardless of tires size..
As for the width of the rear end, It's stock Shovel widtch. If I wanted to build a 21"/21" bike, like everyone else these days, then I would slim up the rear.. er... or not
One of the cool things you are missing on these pics and hopefully this pic shows it, is the wishbone lower rails on the frame... If you look closely you can see them..

Well ya gotta know that what you do inspires a lot of other builders out there, it may just seem like a normal day to you but seeing what you can do and the engineering behind it drives me forward.

Don't wanna blow to much smoke up yer butt however it's true !

I know yours is a cool 74 & mines an 08 but I fully intend to take my Bob down a long and winding road of constant mods & never part with the cornerstone of my business

Anyway, back to the smoke, I just wish you would post up here more often. Maybe I'll change my facebook ac to Rocket Bobs and stalk you over there

Hate to burst your bubble but I don't build my frames Either. We only design them..
I am in the midst of building a frame jig. I'm about 40% done. I just don't have enough time in the day to work on it. Too many customer projects.
The jig will be for frame mods mostly but I'm sure we will build a frame or three with it as well.

If that means I'm not doing it, well....then I guess I'm not....as this pic shows...

I hear what your sayin...just don't look at it like that. My brother and I just enjoy building bikes. We have a great working relationship and friendship and really compliment each other well in the shop. It shows in our work. I hope others are inspired by our work...your know what they say..."imitation is the best compliment" We believe that and Cash works too....

I post when something strikes my eye or I have something to share. I have been really busy as of late. I only have 8 bikes to build currently..Some are started some are still waiting..

Here is the rear brake. This is a 3/2 bracket we are designing. It will fit any Jay Brake or PM 4 piston rear brake caliper and this older PM 2-piston.

This is a tank emblem we have built on this tank.

Check out the reflection

JC. I'm not any kind of Expert like some others but I've got to say it you and your brother have nailed it. And I'm not plugging Pete or anything But those Calipers he's making are sweet. And I would be willing to bet there better then PM . In my Opinion whatever you share is worth hearing. Trust me we need some sanity here most all the time.

JC...just wondering if our members in Texas know about your shop being Three Two Choppers?

See in the alphabet 3 = C and 2 = B...thus CB = Choir Boys

We use the numbers "32" all the time...
