Default Three Two Choppers

Wanted to Introduce myself. My name is JC. I own Three Two Choppers with my brother. I've been riding my 74 FL for almost 20 years now. With all the time in the shop my riding time has decreased but I still enjoy riding when I can. I look forward to meeting new folks and talking bikes.

Thanks for the warm welcome. Dax, I checked out the thread, very cool and glad you guys like what we are doing. We just finished two customer builds and are in the process of designing a new chassis. We have decided to design a softail. I can't let the cat out of the bag (show any designs) at this time but will when I can. I'll post some pics of one of the new bikes soon and the other once we get the photo shoot done. Again, thanks and I'm sure I'll talk to many of you soon.

Here is one of our latest for a great customer who lives in Mexico City.
He loved Corey's El Segundo and wanted his own, so we built him one with a few slight mods. This one is not on our website yet, so enjoy a first look.

This pic gives you an idea of the size of the bike

Damn JC that is one sick looking scoot! The red chain reminds me of the Ducati race bikes for some reason and the slight flare on the pipes is a nice subtle touch! Someone (hint hint) needs to produce a pipe like that for Dynas.... bloody sottails get all the attention usually

Very very nice! You modify a fabbed frame or make your own from scratch?

Anyhow..Awesome build.

The brakes are off a Ducati as well. Years ago PM wouldn't bring us on as a dealer, so we said, "screw them" and R&D our own brake brackets to run Brembo's. The brakes perform incredibly and the brackets look great too.

As for the exhaust. The tip is a baja bug stinger from Empi. This bike truly sounds like a dragster. If you heard it you would understand.

Bosken, our frames are made from scratch.

I want to post some pictures of my personal bike, but can't figure out where they should go, any help?

Either in your album or the custom and special construction area if you want to make a thread.

I had thought about putting in a "garage" section where members can post up pix of their rides and details. But I'm not sure that a majority would use it (?). It's fairly time consuming to make it right and if it wasn't widely used ... like on some other forums, then there would be lots of unused links on pages ... but still a good idea.

For now we can make a forum for Members Rides which could work, but albums seem to be a great choice as well since they are available for any member to look at anothers .. plus they randomly appear at the top of the main page.

Let me discuss it with the other mods and for now use albums ...

We aim to please!

Actually Ratty, it doesn't., steep inclines that level off quickly, speed bumps and right turns that the road has been washed out by big rigs, basically, getting in two low spots but that's it. She's not a long distance rider anymore, but I don't have time for that anyways.

Hey J.C. welcome.

Given that SK8 thinks you are pretty much royalty, do we have to bow and avert our eyes in the presence of your posts?

Seriously nice work the scoots, you will be an asset.

yeah, they were made out of 10 pieces including the cross bar and slugs... not difficult...just time consuming...

Did you check out the Von Urple apes? These were 16" standard apes that we bought, we cut 3 inches out of the width then took the right bar and mounted it backwards on the left side and the left bar went backwards on the right side.

See how they roll back

These bars came out trick....I'm thinking of doing these bars on my 74 FL (shown in my album)

Here is an upclose of the seat...we had Jeri (http://www.jeris-springer.com/) send us an extra set of top springs and rockers and made a reverse spring seat...As the seat falls down in the back it compresses the springs in an upward motion.....check out the rear fender mount....
