RydinFool is infamous around these parts
Default Touring Tanks

I am looking for an aftermarket gas tank of seven to eight gallon size to fit a 2007 Electra Glide. I have started riding distance rides (IBA # 33670), and having to stop every 150 miles just wastes time. I have a Honda ST1300 (7.7 gal tank), but prefer the Electra Glide. Just gotta have a bigger tank. My Suzuki Wee Strom is even faster due to mileage and tank size, but not comfortable. I want to Run Coast to Coast and other rides. Any ideas anyone.

Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight.

If you really want to hurt yourself even more, get one of those sharp pointed pintail seats sk8 sells ... OUCH. Bob owners are a special breed ... they like all types of pain and discomfort.

But he is half right. You should probably get a Power Commander or PCIII ... something like that and re-map for fuel economy. Others WITH baggers can probably give you some intelligent choices ...

our seats are very expensive,, because they are hand built and only use Gel , no crappy injected latex cheapass foam, no Sir !

even the Pintail is a veritable haven of pillow soft rose petals on yer ass after a full days ridin

& i honestly wouldnt consider a long distance without an economy map, it stretches nearly a full 100 miles over the sports map..

not that a bagger would ever have a use for a sports map

Well, I have been running somewhat of a performance MAP and getting an average of 150/ tank. When I switched from the Ness Sucker to the JM I gained about 25-30 miles/ tank with no change in the MAP. I can squeeze 200 miles/ tank, if I ride nice.

with no intent on hijacking this thread topic...I had no idea that there was an economy MAP with the Power Commander.....does it make the bike run too lean??

You never need go to lean Bud because every step of the way through TP/revs you can adjust fuel input right on your laptop. & it's easy.
