A little more than I want to pay considering I'm going to throw half of it away for the jockey shift but I appreciate the link

Yep its msrp for HD ones which are about the cheapest out there new; I was sorta hoping someone had tried them out and didn't like the stretch and had a set gathering dust in the garage... That's how I got the nighster ones.
Oh well, fingers crossed

Go to an HD dealership and order only the parts you need, or get the part numbers and order those from Latus or Chicago Harley or whomever.

Hey Ratty, get used to throwing away parts when you go hand slapping, I did it in 2004 and one of the reasons i haven't gone to aftermarket forwards is because of that, I just can't get used to the idea of having half of anywhere from 400 to 800 dollars sitting on my bench.....
I just got this levers for my ride, and they cost me $130.00 and the clutch lever is in the parts bin now...
None the less, I love the jockey shifter, and wont change unless I am too old to handle holding the bike with just my right leg....

Yeah I'm sure there are going to be a ton of bits in the bin after a while however, the budget is tight right now (thanks to the big divorce thing) so if I can pinch a penny here and there for now I will
Nice levers btw... should be black of course but

If I go faster, all they'll see is a blur, on the other hand, if I slow down a bit, they all can say, "hey, is that handsome dude riding a jockey shift Harley?"

Hell last time I rode jockey was about 15 years ago but I'm looking forward to going back.
Now stop changing the subject and go and make the tinfoil lid slappin video... you know everyone here would be in awe, plus it'd be the funniest thing posted in eons and think of all the beer vouchers you'd get!

I'm not sure me hi-jacking my own thread is so bad but oh well.
Yep that's who I ordered from. The guy was real helpful and is going to coat everything black to match the stock HD stuff.

Did you order an additional clutch cable? those guys are not exactly OEM and if you snap one, you are not only stuck there, but waiting a week for a cable to show up. I have one and pack it when I go for a long ride just in case, as I did install the set up myself .
A buddy of mine set up his LA just a hair on the tight side, and snapped it 300km on the far side of Montreal, a 500 KM distance from home, and had to thumb back home, get his truck and then go pick up his bike. If you snap one on the road you can replace that bad boy with just hand tools in about half an hour, if you just lean the bike on a wall, that way you don't spill any tranny fluid.....
