Cool site. We don't have anything like that over here! I tell you I am fed up with getting bent over on shipping heavy parts in from the US & then getting further raped by customs.

What I don't get is how he breezed into office when every US guy on this forum clearly didn't vote for the guy. So if this is a representative cross section of voters from the US & 100% of you voted against him,,,,,, what happened

It doesn't work that way over here
See you can have more people vote for the other guy and he not win, it's not the peoples vote. It's the Electrol College votes that got him in the White House, more people voted for McCain then Obama. But the Electrol voters don't have to vote with the will of the people.
Look don't call me Raceist, I hate his White half as much as his Black half!

A lot of people fell for his smooth talkin and lies. Lots and lots of lies.
I truly feel that a Prez should be able to be removed if he doesnt even try to live up to what he promises during his campaign.

no one called you a racist you brought it into the subjuct.
the topic diverted and went to shit very quickly i like "motorcycle models" better
i bet you i could fab together one of those hitches (probably even better design ) with less than 30$ in material... including a protective hitch cover... maybe even a reverse light!

Being Racist
I know I wasn't being called Racist, it was just something I picked up on another web site.
But I sure would like to find out where he was born, no place in the US takes credit for where he was born?
As for the hitch, I bet I could make one also. If I stilll had the tools and the shop to do it in. But I sure would buy the wiring harness.

Yes I got the trike
Well of course I got the Triglide, here are 2 pictures of it. And my girlfriend and I found a real good way of buying chrome for it.
Well we will be going on one of our HOG rides this summer, and at the end of the ride at a real nice country park will be a picnic and a wedding. The minister also happen to be the General Manager of the Latus Motors HD where our club is from.

Trailer Hitch
Well I installed the trailer Hitch yesterday, on the 2010 model you have to use the security Torx bit they sell to remove the bolts. The 09' doesn't have these, then bolting the hitch is easy. If you have an air table like I did it's a 15 minute job. The only thing eaiser then the hitch is installing the wire harness, make sure you use zip ties.
Now I know that Harley doesn't like trailer hitches, and I don't plan on pulling t trailer with my bike.
But I also want to keep my warranty in place, so here is why I installed the hitch. I'm disabled I have a state issued parking card on my bike. I plan on using a hitch mounted platform to haul my walker when I need it, I'll also have a mount for my kane. This is the reason I have a trike, I have bad feet and couldn't hold up the 2 wheel anymore.
So I intend on informing Harley that I'm using a trailer Hitch and why, if they want to void my warranty I'll tell them that I'm filing a complaint with the Americans with Disabilites act. ADA Home Page - ada.gov - Information and Technical Assistance on the Americans with Disabilities Act
A member of our HOG club used this and Harley gave him a free extended Warranty.
Wish me Luck

You should not have a warranty problem. I had a few months warranty remaining on my Ultra when I had my dealer convert it and do the big bore/ cams. I asked about the possible warranty issues and he said, "They don't ask....we don't tell"!!
BTW, how much pressure are you running in your rear tires? Those automobile tires are built to carry a lot more weight than the trike is loading them with so you can get away with a lot less pressure. I run 16 to 18 lbs. in the rear and 35 in the rear shocks riding two up with my Girlfriend for "everyday" and it rides like a friggin Cadillac!!! I bump it up to 20-22lbs for long interstate trips or when riding the twisties. Never would have believed a trike would handle so well!!
STAY FREE ON THREE!!!

Trike tires & Fork problems
Hi,
Well right now I'm running 26 in the rear and 36 in the front, and 30 in the shocks. But the trike is in the shop with front fork problems.
The forks bottom out when you put on the front brake, and I get a really weird vibration in the grips, and like a clunking feeling. At first I thought it was a bad bearing in the front wheel, plus it felt like the disks had come loose and were raddleing. It does it at any speed. It's bad enough that I won't ride it.
So it's at the dealer now, if they can't come up with a fix then they will replace the forks. They checked the ballance on the wheels, and they are checking the fluid level in the forks.
Another problem I'm haveing is the alarm system, the alarm and the fobs work OK but the smart siren doesn't work right. If I plug it in while the alarm is on the siren goes off and won't stop. I disconnected the battery and hooked up the siren, and as soon as I connected the battery the siren went off.
I put the bumper on the rear with Rush mufflers with 2.5" baffles and mud flaps, I'm using a platform with the hitch and I have LED's that I'm putting on the platform. Pluged into the trailer lights. I'm also have the 3M plastic applyed to the fenders and the lower fairings and the Bat wing.

Weird problem with the forks!! Sounds like low oil in the fork tubes.....shouldn't be a big hassel as you have lots of warranty remaining. I replied to the alarm issue in your other thread. I'm also running Rush mufflers with Rinehart True Dual Headers but just ordered the Kuryakyn Crusher mufflers with Trident tips. My pal runs them on his Ultra and they provide the deepest rumble I've ever heard!!!
Your bike is running pretty lean right from the factory and the Rush mufflers leaned it out a little more. You'll be OK unless you decide to install a high flow air cleaner. If you do that you're gonna need to add a fuel management system such as a SERT (Screaming Eagle Race Tuner) or other reliable after market tuner to change your map and richen up the air/fuel mixture.

Mufflers
Hi,
Well I have the Stage1 filter with the Rush mufflers, I had the dealer do the Download. Now I'm looking at maybe a Power Commander III to change the map.
There isn't a trike dyno around here yet, and after having SERT on all my other bikes in the past. I just want to try something else this time.

I dont think there is a trike map, per say. You can talk to Jamie at Fuel Moto USA. He can fix you right up. Just tell him what mods you have and he will pre-load the map you need. I have been running the PCIII and have been very happy with it.

trailer hitch
That trailer hitch is pretty affordable. I also bought one for my ride yesterday but don't have the time to install it yet. It's only one of those cheap trailer hitch available there.

Can't figure out how in the heck "cheap towing equipment" ie hitch, receiver, hitch mount, tow ball, etc caused a wheel bearing to melt?
