I'd like to add that I was able to test ride a Honda ST1300, very impressive performance but they are so wickedly fast..I accelerated out of a short sweeping turn in third gear pulling the front wheel off the ground ....Needless to say the city of LA will NEVER purchase this bike for us.

That was a great post 1bc. I think you hit the nail on the head when you mentioned the reclaimed oil and poor grade fuel. Air cooled cant deal with that shit very well.

bottom line is the LEOs would be better off if they were all given Street Bobs
130 + mph
great handling
ultra reliable, no issues with cooling etc
wheelies, burnouts etc no problem
style by the bucket full
demand the ultimate respect from folks so crime rates would fall exponentially
easy to work on, no barn doors etc in the way
shall i go on

Ahhh, a challenge? Everyone knows black is never associated with speed, only stealth. Blue on the other hand has frequently been used when describing speed. "Blue Streak" comes to mind

Not to change the subjetc, but who makes the solo seat, Dan Grey, Mustang? I want to put one on mine, but can't decide.

I like it and it only cost me $120.00 some odd bucks....
I only ever put about 200-250 on it and I love it....it does sit you down and back some so if you have short arms you may have to turn the handlebars down some...
But I think it is a great seat for the price...

Ive got the exact same seat on mine SG and 3 to maybe 500 miles would be pretty doable. Much more and I will go to My Roadglide seat a real long trip say 3000 Ill go to my stock seat. It a pretty nice seat for the price. Dont think that this one would work on you Street Glide cuz its got that long nose to meet up with the console on the EG

I was getting ready to ask that. Still, they may have one to fit my needs. I love the solo look.
