I pulled the trigger
My initial attempt to get another scoot in my stall failed, I had a little issue with some BS on the credit report. With that fixed and my credit where it should be I pulled the trigger on my new scoot.
I BOUGHT A BAGGER!!!!!!!!!!!!
2010 Street Glide, hot rod red with a shit ton of chrome, yes I kept the Night Train but I did sacrifice my WR 250 as a trade in. Got a good deal and I am jazzed as hell. My daughter is working on getting pics uploaded for me so I will post them soon.
Front rear ABS
Electronic Cruise
Stage I complete
Security System
Cranking Stereo
And room for rain gear

Put your sunglasses on, this thing is bright and it is red. As with any bike I have some parts to pull off it and add to it to give it that unique look. But the ride in itself is a dream compared to the hard snappy feel of my Train, however I cannot ever sell my Train it's my first HD and my bestest buddy.

Thanks buddy, I am tickled shitless. Kids are pumped to go for a ride when i get her on Thursday. The HD shop comes to the house tomorrow to take my WR 250 away. Gonna miss the dirt bike a little, but not that much.

I was taking for granted he works. You got to get away from the Comp. long enough to do something else. Like riding.

Trust me Pete, it's a real bike, now I have options, Train for the day cruises and the Street Glide for the longer weekend trips. Options feel good...

Thanks buddy, I'll be at the HD Shop in the AM to get the new pony, really looking forward to that air ride suspension and having music without headphones in my ears.

HOOAAAA!!! Great looking scoot Riv.....and good choice!!! It's gonna look good on ya!! Just remember to keep that front wheel straight when ya stop!! Big bikes are the best but take it easy 'till you get used to the additional weight!!

Exactly ! When I first started riding a fairing bike, I kept wanting to look to the side and down when stopping. Not a good idea.

if you are used to riding,, a heavy bike means nothing,, there are ways and techniques ya know
a bike is measured by its engine size NOT its plastic padding

Okay I got things settled at the dealer today at about 12pm, drove out of the lot and after 154 miles of riding today in the glorious Alaskan sun I have this to say. It rode like a fuggin dream on the highways. It is not a stop and go city bike as I went through Anchorage but the free running highways is where this bike rocks. I had the stereo cranked up and chin in the air to the sun, I feel like a million bucks tonight just getting home. It cornered smooth and I love the smooth power band, just incredible after the snappy rougher ride of the Train.
I would say more but I gotta go jerk off to finish this day right...pics to follow.
