That's a great Bike and one of the best handling Harley's. Even lowered. I known a guy with 1.5 in the rear 1in. up front still rides great just be ready for the noise and sparks on the hard turns. And the sharper the boards get you want too be careful not too cut your self. When you wash it.

lowering kit is on the way from the us...
it's 1or2" , what would be the best option? i want it to stay practical (mount an occasional sidewalk) and i don't want it to affect the handling.
thx for all your help guys !

1 inch down in the rear is good on a FL. They tend to sit a little high in the back. Plus we have air shocks that we can pump a little when we throw a passenger on the back.

Thing is with my van, it's easier to load when it's lowered at the back. Would make my car look & handle weird, but hey that's a car!
With the van, those things don't matter so much, ya know, coz it's a van

Actually, Im gonna give 2 inches a shot. See how it handles. I still have my 1 inch front kit. Just not as easy to put them in mine as it is to drop them in a Bob

I got mine down 4" in the back and 2.5 up front and I love it!!!!!! Im getting ready to get air in the back but it worked for the time being! It makes the bike look so much better!!! But then again I like my bikes LOW!!!! So maybe 2.5 in the rear will be good for you!! Great choice on the king too!!!!

Heres a couple of the bike itself and me on it rolling. i had the standard 13" shocks on it and replaced them with FLHX shocks that are 12" long then I also put the road 6 customs 3" lowering block on and have it set at the lowest setting. Ive taken some pretty sharp turns and have only dragged the right floorboard and the kickstand but it doesnt even get close to dragging bags. I imagine when I get the 4" extended bags I will have to watch out but for not im good.
