In my mind it would be a ride that you could throw on 2 or 3 thousand miles in a week or so time and carry what you need for that time and be comfortable.
That kind of miles wouldnt be to enjoyable if you were getting the shit knocked out of you the whole time.
To me the 1st bike you posted although a work of art and most likely rideable, is just a show bike. The 2nd ride is more in the touring class.

how can you bank into a turn on that??? i like looking at show bikes, but i would never own one. bikes are like guns. why buy a gun you cant shoot.

alot of these show bikes are on airbags... no kickstands... when you shut um off they lower down and literally set on the ground... this thing probably raises up a good 3 or 4 inches when started
