Bud, you should get out of bike building, and get into politics !
Same chances of the wheels falling off !!

i am so confused? so did you buy that cb650? or are you putting bags on the bob? looks like i have a shot to the knee cap coming cause i have a full fairing going on mine and already made hard bags.... then again i tour cross country on my bike, not from bar to bar only... try spending 10 hours strait for 5 days on a bike with out a shield or fairing at highway speeds, bet you change your mind!

no i am not buying the cb and no bags on the bob.. and no screen
and yeah i also rack up the miles,, but with the bars i got now i find its a great position just kinda leaning into the blast and can hold 80 all day no sweat and also have some blasts every now and then also..
i am weird like that, i dont like anything on the bike that isnt part of it,, so i dont run a horn or whatnot but i also think a bike should be able to be ridden hard all day, everyday..
so thats what i am into
however work load being what it is, i havent had mine on the road this year yet

ha ha ha you sound like me! mine has not left the back shop yet! i ride with buddies just like you, no idea how you rock like that for 8 or 9 hours strait, not for this guy, no matter how much i been smoking! ha ha ha
i am taking out my bob for the final time with the 88 this fri, going to rip on it for a bit, then bringit right back in and pull out the motor, going bigger! full treatment down to the welded crank. going to do some trick powder work on the motor and get rid of all that wrinkle, least that is the plan, we will see.... i want to ride this bitch this year, not be working on it non stop! ha ha ha
all my buddies and wife made me PROMISE that this is the last time i will tear the bike down and do work on it, so i have to knock it all out this once and be done...
no such thing as done!

I know i did! but then i had to do the "but this is for the motor" speach... glad my wife rides, she just laughs and says "as long as we can roast some scoots wiht me on back i dont care how much you pump in to that motor!"
funny part is, my motor builder that is helping me do my motor, did his last year, it is 100ft/100hp, just where i want to be... well he got all worried that i was going to have him wiht my cluch and pully upgrade in there, so he went to a 117!!!!! we just pulled his Wide glide off the table... i was super stoked to hear that! now i do not have to buy near as much stuff, i am going to use a slightly more agressive lift on my cam set up, so i got cams, but his rods, pistons, jugs, all looked brand new so i bought his old stuff, he got $ to put it to his new build and i got a great hook up, win win win... now i can go top of the line wiht my head work!
I can not wait to blow the doors off some of my buddies on their metric cruisers after all their shit talking!
