I currently own a Honda VTX........I've been looking at Harleys ...."touring models" I just found an 06 Electra Glide Classic with 14k miles....for 14k...it looks to be a super deal.....just looking for some input from guys that have them as to anything I should look for...it appears to be in excellent shape...has had all services done...new rear tire and just had an oil change...I have taken very meticulous care of my bikes that I've had...I'd like to get something that has had the same care...it looks like a good one...any advice would be appreciated....I do quite a bit of riding 2 up and am looking for something for more comfort on the long rides...THANKS...

But to answer your question, that sounds like a great deal and you will not regret upgrading...
A buddy of mine did it from the vtx1800 and he has no regrets at all. He wishes he would have done it sooner!

Did I mention getting a motorcycle before??? Ya know, rather than giving up on life and retiring into a couch!!! Mebe try a Dyna & put a little joi de vie back in the old noggin ?
