sk8 I know what you mean about the red flash. at some point, I'm gonna have to paint them out, and either go with the solid vivid black or change the color of the bags to match the black cherry bike. gotta work that into the budget though.

Yep...I'd save the coin to have them painted black Cherry to match the scooter!! By the way...are those Rush side slash mufflers on there?? They look just like mine.

Yessir! Rush side slash with 2" baffles... just enough noise to hear them when cranking the throttle...
I don't hear them that much unless I turn my head and put the good ear to the rear, but people who've ridden beside or behind me tell me they're loud enough

I've got the 1 3/4" on mine. They're real mellow cruisin' but come alive when I twist her to six and let her stroll !!!

You really know your bike OJ. I swear I think they were brand new too. not a mark on them and even had to switch over my "classic" bags grommets and pins.

I gotta go with Sk8; I'd spray them black cherry, Dog. But I really gotta know how you get your whitewalls so clean. I clean mine three times a year whether they need it or not.

Agreed, gotta be Black Cherry.
SOS pads work great on the whitewalls, would just be nice if they stayed that way

i use westley's bleche white and either a blue scotchbrite pad or one of those mr clean scrubby pads. the blue scotchbrite doesn't scratch on chrome.
when I was in the Nav, we used a white scotchbrite pad as a wash pad to clear aircraft. those don't scratch paint or plastic (airplane windows). the blue works just fine for almost anything, but I don't put one on my paint. cleans chrome, and the steel stuff on the front, and white walls just fine for me.
I do mine more than 3 times / year. I figure if I'm gonna have'em gotta keep 'em clean. but my next set of tires won't have the white walls. I truly hate spending the first 30 minutes cleaning white walls.
