Only thing is that it produced $70 in revenue last year which I put toward the board's hosting. That isn't very much though, and if it is TRULY an issue for people then it's better to shit can it ... although ... it is kinda cool, even though potentially annoying.

Nope no hardware upgrade. This G4 powerbook is treating me just fine.

This machine was actually my traveling computer at work. They got me a new one and I had brought this one home to screw around with, then they laid me off

Truth is, when you have a system that is stable and running the latest OS, it is a terrible temptation to leave everything alone. We're running several of the Intel chipset Macs, and two of them will run MS, although everyone in our office thinks they are possessed when the Vista desktop comes up.
