Odd, play the word association game, plus you see, instead of catchging bad guys like you, who's actually working, I just manage a Restaurant, with the best grilled cheese in the planet. So I have time to sit down, and type away. That also keeps me from getting in my wife's way so I don't get my mugs , I mean nuts busted. Stay put though, cause I want to adjust my belt tonight, and I know there will be something more important to do at home, so first thing when I come in I'm hidding my mugs.

Get ready to clean your bike like crazy, remember chains need constant lubbin, and that attracts dirt.

sure but twice lately ( one Buell one Glide ) i have stopped for guys on the side of the road and both times its been busted belts,, i used to get some really sticky grease, do the chain then spend a long time wiping it off,, that used to keep the mess to a minimum,, but i know what you mean...

Getting back to the chain deal, you know those snap too, I've seen a guy come out of corner 5 in 2nd gear, and whack it open only to have a catastrophic chain failure that took out the cases and resulted in a serious crash. A properly adjusted, I repeat properly adjusted belt is as good as anything else. Remember the golden rule, a little tighter is better than a little looser. I will try to find the time to writte a quick tech on adjusting your belt, before weeks end.

i made my own tool for the belt alignment and i do like the easy hassle free nature of a belt and i have had a few chains go on me ( luckily they have always dropped away and not wrapped around the sprockets ) BUT replacing a belt is crazy, one stone up there and your toast, they are limited on the amount of ft/lbs they can handle and the final point is a debate going on in my head between a 5.5" or a 6" rim, if i go 6 with a low profile 200 tire i reckon i will need a chain for clearance..
thing is now youre going on pro belts, i'm thinking of sticking with them and going smaller rim,, see how easily swayed i am

The only thing that would make me want to switch to chain is if I had to ride on gravel road(s) on a regular basis. Otherwise.... I'll stick with the belt.
Cheers... Ben.

how about just having the sponsors on the side on the main board. once your in a topic reading it causes a lot of the posts to be shifted to the right. and you have to scroll to read it all. that is a pain in the bum.

as soon as a page loads you only gotta scroll down a couple of lines with the mouse wheel and the thing is out of the way,,,
also if your quick, you can get down the page before the thing has loaded
but bagger owners with arthritic hands need not apply

Haven't heard about or experienced the whole page being messed up like you mention. It sounds like something with your settings in IE. I would seriously try Firefox as a browser. It works extremely well and a lot of the peeps here use it.

on firefox now. doesn't do it all the time. but page is shifted to the right, and if a pic or something is big it shifts it even further over.

Hey Critter...it might be your screen resolution is set too low. Close all your applications and right click a blank spot on your desktop. Left click "settings" in the window that pops up. Then move the little slider on "screen resolution" to max. and save that setting. Just sayin'......
