HDRidersUSA.com License Plate Frames?
Yep. I think it's a good idea. Frankly, the t-shirt ain't my thing. A quality bike plate frame and you might have me by the jibblies. Cafepress probably does them.

Hate to say it, but life's a biatch. I want something I want when I spend my money. 'Nuff said about that. Anyway, was shooting out ideas to help out. I live in Europe on a U.S. salary, I ain't got cash to blow.

I agree with Pete. Back when we were talking T shirts and designs. There were piles of people on board. Once it happened.
Nobody bought them. Same thing would happen with plate frames.

Well... I see banner ads on this site without ROCKET BOBS on them. Just sayin'...
Don't most you old foggies have patches? Can we do patches? Can easily set up a CafePress.com store and go order whenever you want with no overhead.

Yes this site needs support to operate. It doesn't need to make a profit, just to survive. That means T Shirt sales. As sk8 said, most of the 100 I ordered originally are still sitting in my office. That is sad since we had so many people 'pre order' them. Anyway, I'm glad I didn't get the mugs, which would have been nice ones, and I'm surely not getting any license frames. Contributions would be great as well, but they are few and far between. Those that buy tshirts and have contributed so far are muchly appreciated. -- Dax

Ha ha ... do you know how expensive it is to print 4 color tshirts BOTH sides in single or small quantities? absurd. Same with almost everything else. Things need plates or dies etc and those cost $$$

Hm. Lemme try design a single color shirt will have sirbOOm logo small but HDRiderUSA prominent. You put it on Cafepress. If someone buys, they buy. If they don't, no cost to you. This is good stuff.

Haha again. So what would we sell shirts for? Since they COST 24.95 plus shipping from cafe press (2x is 3.00 more and a lot of our buyers are 2x) so we'll call it $27.95 plus shipping is COST. About $33.
Let's see, to make $12 to go toward forum hosting expenses etc, each shirt would have to cost $39.95 PLUS shipping. For a 1 color shirt with an iron on transfer only front or back. who knows what quality the shirt is as well. hmmm. How many do you think we'd sell? You up for spending $46 to $50 for a HDRidersUSA.com shirt? If so, how many would you like?!
Now let's see, we currently have black shirts, most sizes, with 4 color printing on the front AND on the back. Those sell to forum members for $23 dollars + $5 shipping for a total of $28, the are a nice quality shirt AND we bring in $14 or so for forum expenses on each shirt. It's a good deal all around.
It is a simple matter of economics and expectations. We need to bring in some money for expenses. Therefore we need people to BUY our product. And not just the odd sale here or there. At around $50 your cafe press shirt would contribute nothing to the forum, at least moneywize, since no one would even consider buying them.
The only one out of pocket here is me after ordering 100 shirts. They are slowly being sold, so the forum is benefitting and I'm getting my initial money returned little by little. But I believe in the forum and it is something I am glad to have done.
