Default Joker's Right !!

last thread posted by Joker is exactly what we need,, more about the Harleys. Doesnt matter what youve got or what you are fitting/modding or what you have found of interest about HDs on the web etc..

post up a thread, in the relevant section, and dont forget to give it a good relevant title..

trouble is if we dont get some good biker threads going, we are all such feckin clowns, all we do is bust each others chops all day long

So i got one on wiring to fire up tonight,, believe it or not Lisa has sussed how to pull apart the Deutsch Connectors the ones that i was just about to take a disc cutter to and the same ones that Bosken beat with a hammer

anyway,, thats more of what we need,, and before you all start screaming at your monitors,, i know i am probably the biggest clown here, OK

but if you check my threads you'll see a lot of tech ones also so fck off

finally, if anyone needs any help with a thread just PM one of us and it will be sorted..

Dang I wish you could have come out with how to take those stupid plugs apart sooner. I decided it was easier to cut the wires and resolder them. I hate the plugs. Harley has over engeenered the bikes to the point they are about like working on a car. I got the Low Rider stripped down for paint now. It may be a keeper, but Baggers still Rule.

your not wrong there Paul,, i tell you these handlebar switch connectors, hidden up in the main backbone, are complete bastards,, i was gonna snip them and re solder and Lisa said she would like to take a look..

i kinda scoffed at her,, and now i am payin

we were down the barn this morning and she had them sussed and apart in no time

now i just gotta thread the wires through the new bars and just plug em back in..

but i am still wanderin if its worth it, coz Lisa is ribbing me non stop

I feel a big ole group hug coming on here. I came in from taking the rear fender off the Low Rider and had everything off but the fender was hanging from the turn signal wires. I was fuming because I couldn’t figure out how to open those plastic plugs to get the wires out. The service manual says just to open them up and push the spades out, makes it sound so easy. I can’t see well enough to see how to open them. My wife said “Why don’t you ask that Sk8 guy if he knows how” I of course told her that if that Wanker was the only one who knew how to do it then I didn’t need to know. I then cut the wires knowing that I did know how to solder them back. And know Sk8 wants to have this big old dumb love and peace day.

Oh well I still have my Bagger and they still Rule.
