Let's start with emboidered patches since Joker and his wife are ready to rock with their embroidery business.
Will be color shield and lettering with NO background. Shield should be 3.5 inches wide.
The www.HDRidersUSA.com line needs to be bolder and taller. (will need to be this way for all designs).
Also will need one 10 or 11 inches (comments?) wide for larger patch for back of vest or jacket. Again the www.HDRidersUSA.com lettering below should be larger and bolder to be readable.

dont use "WWW", dont really need it, folks know now,, So you have more room to stretch it out a tad..
& can you go silver thread on the URL or some bright thread,, or is that gonna look gay?
actually scrub that,, it would'nt look right

White or sliver is good I think for thread of url. Personally I think it balances better with the www even though not needed. Currently it is a silvery color sk8 same as the shield border. So you're not so 'happy' after all.

excellent,, so i could give out UK style fliers then,, that might go down better,, you know cerebrally challenged individuals such as myself did initially get thrown by the USA..
BTW,, could you email me the flier artwork and i can then print it out...

Dax, what kind of files do they want, and if it is Illustrator, which release and .eps?

He'll let you know what wife wants for files etc. In the meantime, FB, if we could, it would be nice to see some other url options at the bottom of the shield. No matter what we do it needs to be bolder and larger in height. We may or may not need the www as long as the capitals stay. Either white or silver. Thanks

just a jpg is fine fb.
from my other post:
either a jpg or bmp file, min resolution 300 dpi
lettering should be at least 1/8" tall, or may not stitch out legibly
i don't need color seps, but colors need to be completely separated, ie no shading or bleeding. clean lines.
obviously, thread doesn't mix like ink.
the cleaner the file, the better it will digitize and stitch out.

Joker, Dax,
Here's the 3.5" flat art for patch embroidery. Obviously, where you see flat yellow we would love gold metallic thread, and where you see gray, we would like silver metallic thread. I PMed both you guys to figure out a way to send you a higher resolution jpeg.

FB, the only problem I see is the url below. It is too squashed and will fill in badly when embroiderred. Can you unsquish it and put it up again? I know it will be a little wider but that will be ok.
Also what do you think of the bg within the shield being a light grey or white and the shield outline be shiny silver? Or no? Just opinion.

Dax, I'd keep the inside of the shield black for maximum contrast with the type. Yes, I think the shield outline should be silver metallic thread and the Harley Riders should be gold metallic thread. Here's a re-spacing of the URL type, too. If this will upload, it is large enough to do the 3.5" patch. I'll have to send the 10" by other carrier.

FB, this is a perfect finalization for embroidery. Thanks. We'll use the gold and silver shiny thread if possible.
Ok onward and upward. Mugs. We will do one color, either white or metallic silver on the black mugs. Not sure if we can use this or if the stroke will make the text too wide and puffy?

No it needs some alteration for mugs. Do you know if it is flexo or silkscreen? I'll get you monochrome art for that, and you ink it the way you think it needs to be. Jpeg?

I buy a lot of stuff from an LA outfit named Branders.com. If you set up an account, you can upload your art, see the item with the logo on it etc. Might be a good place to look for mugs, fobs, etc. Hats, tee-shirts probably need to be made off-shore for price reasons.

FB Where'd you find that pix of Uncle Bab on your avatar? Always liked how he painted his face!
Can I just use the art you sent already for branders? They seem a tad expensive but I'll give it a try designing some mugs. Or did you make a special sized pix?
