This is how I spent my sunday!
Got the free jap doner for my friends survival project going. Well after seeing it sit all summer and having to f with the clutch and wait 2 weeks for a clutch cable. You better believe I had to test that clutch. Had to weight the front while holding it back since the front brake master cylinder has a small issue. Next time I will spin the Cookie I promised! And yeah later that day I cleaned the shop up...

Its my buds ride. But for some reason I always get the honor of lighting up my friends tires. Its gonna be a survival mad max themed deal. We were talking about dirt bike bars, dual headlights, mild dualsport tires when they are due. Some random leather pouches. And gonna high mount something for a front fender. It should be a slow but easy and fun project. I should add its also his first bike!

Its an 82 kaw kz750 two cylinder. Guess they only made em a couple years. Could make it a bummer to find parts for but it was free.

I dont think they would be worth the shipping price. Im sure that in the end Ill cut em down and hack em up for a custom set some day.

Well since I couldn't buy the Ironhead from over here, I'm going to just crap a cheap Jap bike and learn how to build on one of those. Should be cheaper and I won't feel bad for killing a Harley.

I have had a lot of fun beating the living snot out of these old jap bikes over the years. They are cheap and run pretty quick. They will never capture my heart like some other old iron. But they are quite fun.
