Default HJC helmets are GREAT --UNTIL your visor attachment hardware break!

Anyone ever had their visor attachment parts break or wear out.?

If so has anyone tried to put the new parts in with the plastic screws?

Well let me tell you about my helmets (2).

Great helmets. Fit, finish comfort air vents, view, fantastic. UNTIL your visor attachment hardware breaks. Your helmet is then JUNK forever!

Your replacement parts kit has 2 or three plastic screws that are used to attach the parts to your helmet.

You must turn them at least 1 full turn to tighten them enough to hold the attachment part in place or it will move when your visor is moved up or down.

The plastic screws break if turned more than 1/4 of a turn! Making it impossible to put the new hardware on your helmet, making your helmet WORTHLESS for them on.

Now if your willing to wear your helmet without a visor for then on. It's still a good helmet, But if it rains, gets cold, is dusty, well you see my point.

Boy am I disappointed how a company can screw up a good product and make it unusable forever for the lack of a 1/10 of a cent part.

Oh, I forgot to say when the screws break (and they all will) they leave the threads in your helmet. I guess you could drill them out and re-thread your holes. Every tried to re-thread soft plastic Good luck.

Sad, just sad! To waste 2 very good helmets of the lack of a 1/10 of a cent part. (sorry, I already said that.)

Enough said.
