However, there is no data for what to expect with the new SE heads I've got, other than a comp. ratio higher with flat-tops, and better breathing. I will be curious to know which combo performs better, and which is more useful for street use. I plan to find out the hard way (try both setups myself). I know top-end will be stronger with the SE-57; but will it work well with stock flat-tops and SE-Heads...

Because the SE heads bump it up a compression ratio, i bet Ben has been trollin' for Street Bobs! Harley's are, after all, designed for TORQUE, not rpm...

To answer my own question: the Andrews EV46 cam works better on the street, because, with SE Heads (the new 1998 ones), the torque is over 80 ft. lb.s at 2500 rpm, whereas with the SE57 cam, torque doesn't start until 3900 rpm. So, a 40% increase in rideabilty with the EV46 (more "streetable"). I would, however, run the SE57 if Sk8 was anywhere in the vicinity, as it's 95hp@6k rpm would give him a good run, given that my bike now weighs only 585 lb.s. . Just sayin', and i really wish i had a bazillion bux to do all the stuff he does...
