Harley-Davidson donates 28 bikes to Haiti
Harley-Davidson is donating 28 new Buell and Harley-Davidson motorcycles to assist with the Haiti earthquake disaster.
The bikes are being shipped to the disaster zone from the Dominican Republic where H-D has a facility.
“Our thoughts are with all of those affected by this devastating disaster in Haiti,” said Rod Copes, Sr. Vice President of International Sales, Marketing and Business Development for Harley-Davidson.
“As the relief and stabilization efforts continue, motorcycles can often offer a higher degree of maneuverability and access than other types of vehicles.”
The motorcycles will remain in Haiti as a permanent donation to the government.
Is this what the Haitians need? What do you say..

I think its a great idea but I think they could have given them something more practical than a Rocker C.
But their heart is in the right place. My hats off to Harley Davidson.

lol was giving haiti motorcycles the best thing H-D could have done? lol hell no... especially buells i think they were just trying to get some credit and get rid of theyre bastard child cruiser, and what are now discontinued buells (they were probably all buell blasts )
sending them a few harley davidson edition f-350's... i think would be a little more beneficial. but that would probably be pure monetary loss, so them being a multi billion dollar company wouldnt allow it, even though a couple hundred grand wouldnt seem like much. fuggin corporate b.s.
but im not a presumer... i think it was a wicked cool thing for them to do all around lol "those 'bikers' would do something like that...freakin bikers"
