Chief_confusion is infamous around these parts
Default Red Key light

I have a 2002 Ultra Classic converted to a Road Glide Ultra. It has an aftermarket ECU. Bike sat for a few months due to various reasons. Started it up the other day and the bike started fine but the red key light now always blinks all the time. Even if I turn the bike off it still blinks but it is a random blink pattern. I've pulled the codes and are clear. Bike rode fine but didn't ride far with issue. I've pulled each fuse and unplugged each relay. Only thing that stops it is removing security fuse and separately if you unplug the TSSM. The bike does not have the security system. I do have led lights but have a load equalizer and have unplugged that and plugged back in. Nothing ever changes. Any ideas?

My son has a 04 Nightrain it had the red key light on all the time when he bought it. The bike is carbureted and has no security system on it. I rang the shop he bought the bike from and they said it was connected to the ignition system , the bike would cut out if it was revved hard, so you'd be bombing down the road and pull up at a stop sign and the engine would turn itself off. I re-tuned the carbie and turned the idle up and the red light went away and the engine no longer shuts off...... I don't know if there is anything relevant to you in this story but maybe there might be something similar
