Riding Experience
Had my first real long ride yesterday (about 100 miles round trip) as normally it's just back and fore to work (40 miles rounds trip). Throttle hand ached like a bitch - is this normal? Also, never been that happy when going around roundabouts here in the UK but I thought I would try out actually turning my bars just slightly in the opposite direction that I wanted to turn having initiated the turn (don't ask me why or how I though about trying that ) BUT - it worked the bike actually turned much easier Does anyone out there know what the feck I'm going on about

Mike's got it there Relax. In your turn don't pull on the bars push down on inside grip. As you lean in. It's Geometry so I can’t' explain it. Good practice is finding a lot with a post out in the open. Start 30 meters out go round and round getting closer as you gain confidence. Great video is Ride like the Pro’s. Hope this help's

Counter steering ,, anything above 20.
It's the only way you can ride and get it sorted in your head & you won't believe what little effort roundabouts & switchbacks are. Plus just how fast you can flick thro them
Ignore the bagger dudes here, they run tillers and have to counter just getting out the garage!!
And wrist ache will go the more you ride. Dont go getting any lame ass throttle help !! Again leave that to the elderly & the bagladies

Pretty sure countersteering is only one word though , so, first two words would be, 'countersteering anything' .
Cheers... Ben .

100 miles...is that like 4 laps around the UK island? It's like NASCAR I reckon.
