Unhappy Not a good 4th........
Well, I was heading to a buddies house when a car turned in front of me....
I smashed in the driver's door of the car (which was a rental) and wound up slamming a curb a hitting a building.
The driver took off (was a felon) who only came back after the cops where there.......But I am glad he came back.
The bike was flatbedded to a garage and now I wait to hear what Geico has to say about the claim.
I waffled the front fender pretty good,bent the crash bars,smashed off the passing lamps,wasted 1 saddle bag and bent the front forks back against the frame.

Was a shitty 4th of July ending but coulda been worse............

wholly shit HB!!!! I hope you're ok and the sounds of it (you're here on the board typing) came out of it in pretty good shape. So the fucker took off eh, was he/she an illegal alien? that's their MO.

Hope you get everything fixed and that fucker pays dearly for it......they they hook the other driver up for hit and run??? Doesn't matter if they came back...law says stop right then and there.

I screwed my ankle up pretty good, my shoulder is a lil bitched up and then there is the usual road rash...............

But in the big picture it really isn't to bad considering!

The cops were cool and there was a car that witnessed the whole thing as well as a fellow biker who helped get everything up off the road.

I wanted to see fireworks on the fourth but not create them............

Wow that really sucks, sure glad to hear you’re okay though. Have ya decided on a replacement bike yet.

I’ve heard of a small shop overseas that builds some pretty good stuff. The guy talks a bit funny and it’s tuff to get a full sized fender or seat but other than that , some nice engineering..

really though, glad to hear you are okay..
