selfish bastards
OK, just want to check that I am not the only moron that spends every last spare penny on the scoot to the exclusion of most other "normal" activities. I am considering spending serious cash £2000 ($3000) on a set of ride wright fat daddys to put the final necessary touch on the rebuild yet I have not taken my familly on holiday for 5 years and they never moan. My wife of 17 years shops in charity shops for clothes and does not murmur when I suggest some wonderful expensive shiny new purchase for the bike. Is this fair? Do I care? Am I developing a conscience? What have you guys given up to fund the bike? Make me feel better....

Hey Risky - I'm definitely a member of that club! The wife has let me spend more on my bike in the last 6 months that she has on herself in the past 12 years - she must freaking love me man.

Ben used to force me into stupid purchases,, crazy expensive back lights etc etc
in the end the only way i was going to get to spend more on my Bob was to start a Company around it

but we all know that when we say "just need this last part to finish the project" it is bullshit, there will always be another part or another whole new project. I am sure the girls know this as well, we have just found the ones that let us get away with it.

still not ordered the wheels, combination of guilt and the extremely shitty exchange rate. We have lost 30% against the dollar in the last 18 months and about 15% in last couple of months alone. Have ordered everything else though, got some lovely bits and bobs on the way. I did hear some rumour that I may also be receiving my voodoo at some point, probably just an urban myth

Did not imagine you would be a fat daddy fan, bit too showy for your taste? I was worried about the strength of the radials but i understand the guys at ride wright have tested them in extreme conditions and they held up. If they can handle motor x then they should stand up to british pot holes. Any one ever dealt with the guys at ride wright? The customer service is allegedly top notch.

yeah i have always dug Fats,, but i think there are better spokes now,, just about anything from HDW is the tits..
and some others
but basically i am a real fan of spokes,, just think that they suit HDs and are a classic, mechanical, elegant wheel
