The problem ya gonna have is the clear coat on you lowers .. BUT here's the plan
go to you local powder coaters and find out if they take cash, will do rush jobs, work on a Saturday morning etc,,,
so pre arrange so they are running gloss and know you are coming in,,, then Friday night pull & strip the front. Taking it all down is only 1 hour, I've done it loads and can talk you thro it. But if yours is like euro models then it's got this fckin clear coat on that's a bitch to strip, but ya just gonna have to sit down with a good sanding block and rub it off.
Ok, shoot in first thing Saturday, or whatever, and fire the parts thro the ovens. You'll have them all done and heading home in 40 minutes.
Takes 2 hours to put the front end all back together. Make sure you got four bottles of fork oil "e" grade & fork seals & some grease for the head bearings..
You'll be out riding by the afternoon and drunk in the evening sat looking at yer blacked out bob ticking in the corner

It's ok,, there's always a plan b!
Pull the forks etc off, prep lightly, mask and shoot with epoxy gloss black, leave to stand for 12 hours and fire back together.
Then get them powdered in the winter

Plan c.......no prep...wrap them with electrical tape....or some black bear fir.....wha cha think....All kidding aside I'm just gonna wait until I can't wait no more.....in the mean time save up for very green winter..I'm even thinking about going galvanized grey with black ghost flames or a racing strip all the way down the bike...
