well i thought id post outside the new area......

07 bob

well my winter mods will include cutting struts,

powder coating most of the bike black,

21" front wheel,

shorter rear fender, either the vrod or sk8's fender kit.

and lowering, hopefully shocks but def blocks,

thats about it for my first winter,

oh maybe new custom pipes,
love the sound of the v&h but to long... and chrome...

fender should be done today, or tomorrow,

need to round off struts,

going to get my new seat, the lepera, covered. not sure with what, snake skin, alligator etc...

what colour, keep black or add an accent colour,

i like the black and brown snake...

Not all of us can do complete rebuilds each winter Sk8. Although next year I'm hoping to do something big to the front end of the bike. I figure after getting the rear suspension squared away this winter I will be ready for the front to catch up! Something subtle like this should do!

By the way if you guys haven't dealt with Howard at Motorcycle Metal he is ACES as Sk8 would say. He called me last night to see if I wanted to save $80+ on my Ohlins! So an additional week of waiting and I save some hard earned cash. My Ohlins will arrive in the country a week from today, I really hope it's still warm enough to ride when I get them. But then again warm enough will be a very relative term by that point.
