Well I've pretty much decided I'll be getting a V-rod so the only mods I'll be doing if I have the funds available are air ride suspension for the rear and possibly front so I can slam it when I park up. I'd love to do more but finances just won't allow it.

isnt a mod but getting a lift would be a start to the good stuff for me.
maybes some 21" front tire action, fatter rear - but i feel I need to get my money and miles out of this set before I trashcan it.
Oh here we go!! Some damn solution to the swiss army knife of junk hanging off my handle bars
Maybe a diff set of bars? I am so undecided in what way I want to take the bike. so much option...
still working on the smaller details of the bike.

I have a J&S jack and I can't say enough good things about them or the jack itself. There's a video floating around of a full dresser up on the jack being wheeled around the shop before the guy climbs on it. I really thought it was a video of a bike falling off a jack but it most definitely was not. A little pricey but worth the investment if you are going to do any kind of work on the scoot.

I will be installing the 14" apes Tom is making me, taking photos of the whole process, posting them online here, and having some sex. Not with Tom.

Well the springs I'm going to leave chrome but the rest I'd like to do black. Wet paint? Is that code for something cooler than something applied by a brush or rattle can?

Yeah but I don't think I can paint the threads. I still need to be able to adjust the preload for when the wife gets on the bike.

If you have it setup for a good handling ride solo then it will be a comfortable ride for two up. The Ohlins can handle it without adjustment
once set for you that's it, trust me
besides ya don't give it the beans with the misses on the back!
