Hmmmm. Seem to be getting a trace of oil(?) on the right side of the front hub. It's not coming from the brake, and does'nt appear to be coming from the fork . Wonder if the sealed bearing, can be over packed, and it's weeping out ?

If thats whats leaking, dont ya think some would make it's way to the outboard side of the fork, and just be a drip, as that side is'nt spinning .

it could be grease from the bearings,, heated and running out but i think its a slim probability,,,
the oil from the fork would appear first on the hub.
wipe it off with de greaser and then watch carefully for first signs, but my money is on the retaining bolt,,
easy fix,, just anneal the copper washer, coz i know you wont want to buy new ones

So, why is'nt it showing up on the other side of the fork ??
It's dry on that side. And your right, when I replaced that fork seal this winter, I did reuse the copper , but I cleaned it well, and it looked straight.

it may have looked straight but they are called crush washers for a reason
if you anneal it then it will work again just fine and crush to seal...
if you just re-used them then there is your problem

BTW, if ya got a blow torch or a gas stove, then heat the washer to fckin hot and then plunge it straight into cold water..
then its ready to fit

with mine they are different,, but ya dunno on the wee forks you have
anyway,, it could be excess grease,, and it may heal itself if its just a minor weep..
so just keep an eye on it and dont worry,, you wont have to fork out for $300 replacement washers
