Impressions of the 1%-ers...

In my limited days since starting to ride (will be a year in August, 2009), I've only come across a couple Hells Angels in one instance. This was in Frankfurt, Germany of all places; the West End chapter. Anyway, when you come across one or a group of 1%-er biker club members (i.e., Hells Angels, Outlaws, Banditos, Mongrels), do you ignore them, talk to them, get scared... what?

Pay no attention to them and just leave them alone...they don't want to be bothered anyways.....most times they are cordial and may return a simple greeting.....except for the mongols..they are a bunch of street gang thugs

Seriously, they are people like you and I except with a record or a need to get one. Leave em be and they will leave you be, don't gawk or touch their colors. Most are good to the core and mean you no harm, engage them only as much as they intend to engage you.

I agree with OJ and Riv, lot of Banditos around this area and I've never had a problem with one of them. I just leave them alone. I don't have anything to say to them, and I'm sure they don't have anything to say to me that I'd be interested in hearing!

A few weeks ago, Janine and I rode up the outer banks and some NC club got on the 2 hour ferry same time we did. overall they were ok, they kept to themselves, as did most of the other riders on the ferry. wifey got a little concerned when the group pulled up, walked to their support vehicle and all started popping tops on brewski's at 9am. They were fun to listen to and watch but I didn't spend much time ogling the bad boys and girls. the rider behind us was a young Marine lieutenant colonel on a kick ass roadglide he inherited from his dad. Now he was fun to talk to.

i used to ride with a bandito "support group"... i have so many stories from that "phase" of my life
one saturday it started raining... raining hard hard... and i was the only one in my chapter that showed up on my sled... i got to the meeting a they were all blown away that i would saddle up in that weather...
moral of a pointless story:
from what ive seen, the patches on their backs are the only things that make them "bikers" and anyone can be a tough guy when you roll around in a "possy" with large numbers... they all bleed.
i dont like um.
alot of people call the mongols thugs... but theyre ALL thugs.

i work on the weekends as a bouncer . a week after i got back from my honeymoon i was told while i was gone the boss had some words with a few 1 % ers and called the cops to get them to leave . all of such and such club are barred he tells me . so the very first thing i had to do that night is tell 4 members of said club they aren't allowed there anymore . well things went ok that night but other times guys without their colors on ( from that club ) have gotten into fights with other guys from another club in the bar .
