RSD Tracker Brass Footpegs And Shifter Pegs
Roland Sands have just brought out some footpegs and shifter pegs matching their grips.
So far they seem to only be available at J&P Cycles:

 (clicky)
They aren't even on the RSD site yet, but they are in the new product .pdf:
Kickstart To 2012
There's a new grip/peg design, called Chrono, and lots of other stuff too.
Here're the matching grips:

You mean like these:
I've had 'em for about 5 months now; pretty much since they came out.
The only tricky bit was working out how to make the fuel gauge and the range to empty reading in the speedo still work.
Better view of the speedo:
It has a gear indicator too; doesn't show when not in gear.

Hey Pete, I've posted about your gas caps on the XL Forum. Just wondering, can you do vented versions for Sportsters? Quite a few poeple on there might be happy to hear it if you can.

yup we do vented versions ( that one in the pic is for my Shovel )
however current injected sportys vent through the neck of the filler and out through the tank, a bit like big twins.
so we sell non vented to these goys or vented depending on what they want ..
we are also doing anodised black and contrast cut and will also have a Sportster script on the cap soon. Just not sure what,, if there is a cool sporty saying they know of shoot it me and ill run that also

It turns out J&P didn't actually have them.
Initially it said the pegs were 'available', but the shifter peg was backordered. I waited 'til it said the shifter peg was in stock before ordering. As soon as I did the pegs went to 'backordered: available in 1 -2 months'! That changed to '1 - 2 weeks', and now it says 'available' again.
I'm hoping they'll be shipped soon. Even then it'll probably be a couple of weeks before I get them. Stuff always gets delayed for days in Customs.
Cruiser customizing may have them now: Footpegs
Shifter peg
Leastwise, they were saying 'not yet available', and now they aren't.
Apparently Drag Speccies are showing them as available.

Why do things get hung in customs with you guys?? When I received parts from Rocket Bobs I don’t recall anything but the DHL box it came in? Do you have to pay to get it out of there? I just don’t get it..

You have to pay the Customs charges before you can get your package. We have to pay tax on the cost of the parts, and the cost of shipping! We have to wait until they get around to looking at the parcel and deciding how much to charge.
If you get something shipped by UPS or DHL it comes straight to you, but you still have to pay the shipper the tax before you take delivery. If shipping is by USPS, then this end it gets delivered by the national postal service here. In all these cases though, the shipper collects the tax on behalf of Customs (and they charge you a fee for doing so ).

Of course UPS or DHL costs a lot more than USPS, but you do get your stuff quicker.

Fastest ever was 12 hours to Az & the dude had his Voodoo
