yea well got a few things planned like I said up front incl. the 200 tire job, will have the dosh ready in 2 or 3 weeks, got my wish list ready so will be from then, ordering parts etc..thread will be in real time lol...with pics etc..just think someone down the line will flick through a thread in 10 minutes that maybe took 3 or 4 months to build up but hope its a laugh along the way with usefull information..
... so no turd pics, naked twats, contents of bagger luggage boxes or the like in here please ..I know it's difficult but try to keep on subject

We'll see ...at the end of it all could ask the mods to rinse the thread from unnecessary posts and lock it when it's done
To get extra space I have to change my sissy from fixed to detach.. Signal rolocate part# 53968-06B will be required..the detach mounting kit I allready got in the garage ready.Note! Will be using different signals...and found a kit that'll fit on the inside of the fender..replace the huge bolt head that might rub on the tire..

Think what was meant was the cleanest most informative, least hijacked and being without a usual, typical, or expected attribute or accompaniment of advertising thread ever ..nought to do with fitting a 200 tire on a Dyna..ain't that right mate

You gonna self medicate are ya Wee Ben
BTW.. the forum is full of tech threads. All run un- hijacked (apart from mine) until the subject runs out, then Ben or whatnot start in on them. However anyone is welcome to return to topic at any time.
There are some full on ground up build threads
Also some extensive Dyna build threads, check out Dirtnap + about ten others
I think what ya doing is excellent. And looking forward to the thread
But fitting a 200 is a straight up bolt in affair and lacing up a 6" rim is great also,,,,,,,
So don't stress about it. It'll all be fine

Well I've moved somewhat in the general direction..bullet signals arrived(allready have jp cycles front relo kit and had it powdered black),,the14" Burley narrow apes came a couple of days ago and so did the nostalgic hand grips...lucked out on the chopped fender kit but through friends in the german street bob forum located and bought as new 2010 street bob fender/rear light and loom...which should be with me next week.
Phoned st.pauls HD about the XBONES 17X6 rear rim last week and they say they are on back order and to ring again before ordering to make sure they got them in stock..say it's cos HD are moving house

Thanks mate, really pleased with them now, when I first picked 'em up I thought fck theyre smaller than I thought but once bolted up on the SB they were just how I wanted them..I'm 6ft and holding the bars my hands are at eye level..perfect,did'nt want them above that. and I think I can get away with flipping the mirrors under.

Yep! I never even tried that yet, cause I sit my helmet right on the mirror... I think I will try and reverse it tomorrow and see if I like it...

I usually pop the helmet over the headlamp..works fine lol
ok my amateur paint job just worked fine..tried various mat paints in the past and found the Plastic Padding mat black to be the closest to denim..
