Default Tires for Super Glide Custom

First post here. I need both tires and I am having trouble getting good info about tire compounds, cornering characteristics, etc. I ride mountain roads and need good traction and cornering. Looking at Michelin Scorcher 31, and Dunlop. Any recommendations?

I have Michelin Scorchers on my FXDC, bloody great tyre, I live in the mountains myself so plenty of corners/gravel across roads etc and they hang on well.
Pretty good in the wet as well, I have 12,500kays on each tyre and should get 1000 more on rear and 2000 on front.
I will replace then with the same tyre.

Aussie Dave.

I had factory dunlop and soon switched out to Metzler me880 marathon. are roads in the praires are rough so the metzlers work many times betterand wear much longer. The moutain trips to the coast have been way safer and rain felt secure. i am going to try out the Michelin scorcher on my new fxdc in the spring.
