Default Leather wraps

I spotted an article on wrapping chrome parts with leather to black em off. Some of it looked pretty nice. Has anyone played with this or have any links to how its done?

Looks good. How did you apply it. Rubber cement ? Wet or dry? Was it a kit or did you do the gromits by hand? am thinkin of trying to use it on the sliders on my sb.

Its all laced up the inside. These were from Chillowee (sp) Leather. But he custom made the length I needed.

Thanks for the site . Am thinking about visiting tandy leather and trying my hand at something freestyle. lol disaster waiting around the corner.
