Default need H.I.D. lights for your Harley???

hey all.......here's a great company if you're looking to upgrade your headlights from the stock halogen to high performance High Intensity Discharge lighting system on any Harley.

Dustin Hemrick is the owner and it's a family run business. The quality of their components are top grade and installation of the product was easy with straight forward easy to follow instructions. Customer service is top notch and I received my lights within 5-days of ordering, shipped the same day of ordering.

I purchased the kit (HID hi/lo) for my 03' Road Glide and the performance is beyond outstanding. My next upgrade will be to the spot/driving lamps on my 09' Ultra, I already have an HID headlamp.

Check out his website. p.s....he is looking for installers if you're interested.

I use a yellow high output bulb in my bikes. Get comments from folks all the time, "Yeah, I saw you much better with that." I can see at night just fine and if a cop makes a comment I just tell 'em everyone's got headlights on during the day and this is the only way I can stand out. Then he says, well shouldn't you wear a helmet. Then I say, well shouldn't you guys not park in no-parking zones? Zing!

And then he sez (after he turns off his dash cam) It’s time for some curbside justice.Where did you get the bulb/light? Sounds like a plan.

Nah I said that to a cop who had a sense of humor. He was parked in front of a fire hydrant and I was parked in front of his car and he made a joking comment on the light. He was getting lunch...

Got the light at Amazon. Some Japanese brand (not Hella) and the thing lasted longer than any bulb I've ever had on any vehicle. Still going... well, it was before I switched headlights with Ric's bobber light. I've posted a link to Amazon with it on here somewhere.

@ FL....I'm still planning on going to Sturgis along with Papa S...and yes, I still have my Roadie, love that bike and actually is more comfortable than my Ultra. I wouldn't take the Roadie to Sturgis...it's nearing 100K, runs solid but want to take it easy and make it last as long as I can before I need an engine rebuild.

just an update about Hemrick Performance....although the company was great on customer service I did find out that their product did not hold up. I contacted Clark Hemrick the owner and he is dying from cancer and has shut the business down as his sonsdo not want to continue on with the business. I got rid of the Hemrick HID system as they had substandard ballasts......

ANYWAYS...

I purchased the HID system from Custom Dynamics for my 03' Road Glide and WOW, what a difference...plus Custom Dynamics has great customer service.

Harley now offers and LED system for Road Glides but wouldn't you know it they're for 04 and later
