Jordan...basically I used two HD detachable clamps, they are backwards underneath the top tree. I used to bent pieces of small piping and flatened each end and drilled holes to use as bolting points. I then bolted them to the clamps and then to the fairing at two of the windshield mounting holes...so basically they bend around the curve of the headlight and then support the fairing. There is also a z shaped tab that I put between the headlight spacer and a hole drilled at the bottom of the fairing to mount it at the bottom.

I'm going to try to make some templates for a better mounting bracket and then get them water jetted to fit.

im getting my ness fairing in this week, are the stock mounts not sufficient? Im getting worried because it seems like everyone had to fab up something to get them mounted up properly.

Hey Ric : great looking build . I bet that bike flies. Haven't had much experience with the TM ECU setup. Seems guys who run them like them a lot. Thanks for posting pictures. Rick aka missedem

What front end do you have? They make 3 or 4 different fairings....

49mm. I ordered the one for that front end.

Im just curious on why you had to "highly modify it", was it just to use the quick detach hardware, or for fitment?
