Im looking for a replacement cap and gauge for my 07 SB. I'm digging the black diamond set from Harley but the description says 09 and later Dynas only. Is there a reason they wont fit an 07?

I dont know your answer but I do know that HD says a lot of shit wont fit/work but in fact will.

just so you know,, ive fitted these to 06 and up Street Bobs with never an issue. The first one i fitted was to my own 08 and since then i have fitted at least 10+ sets to all models and all years..

later SBs had a "miles left" feature on their setup and thats the issue,, but it makes no never mind, you got three wires in the kit and three on the loom, same exact colours, they plug in and work great

I fit this kit on my 05 Wide Glide tank. The gas cap has a ring that sticks to the tank. It has a hard time sticking flush to the tank because some tanks have a different curvature. This is the only problem with the kit.

I agree, but I have also learned (the hard way) that a lot of shit that I thought should fit/work in fact did not. The risk kinda makes life exciting, doesn't it?
