why no fat spokes?
Hey, im new to this site and to the dyna platform. Im picking up an 07 black denim street bob and have a long list of upgrades planned. I really dig the Chrome dna mammoths with black spokes but while trying to research fitment and pics, it seems like Noone is running them. The have an 18x5.5 and 21x2.15 which is what most are upgrading to. Am I missing something or do i just have bad taste lol?

DNA have issues with fitment. So much so that we quit using that Co some time ago.
Nothing wrong with fat spokes, I got pix of Martins Rocker with them on. Fat Daddy's.

Welcome Sinner I like the fat spokes but as far as the DNA, I have read a lot of fitment issues with them

No they don't. We won't sell PM wheels. Last set we had thro the shop were 1.5mm off centred on the hubs.
Consider that we work to 0.01mm tolerance on our milled parts & that's average for the UK.
We found even worse on their rotors, one set were +2mm off center!!!
When your going to make big round things that wiz about really fast, you need accuracy.
We also had RSD rotors in and the same issue.
To give you an example that'll make Ben happy, if you measure a rotor from a proper Co like Brembo, they are spot bollock on!
These other companies get away with making crap & charging top $,, dunno how, I guess they got a good image & customers trust them & don't bother to check their products

Wow! 1.5mm and 2mm ... that's HUGE. Wouldn't that create a noticeable wobble or something similiar? How can they get away with that on a continual basis?

i looked into this...the issue is the axle size... my 08 takes 25mm axles...they dont make them for that size...so you can get it w a 1 inch axle but then u gotta change ur front end...

My front rotor was out at least that , and they built it fresh for me, cause the wheels were no longer made. For that kinda $$$ I shoulda sent the damn thing back, but I was desperate to get out for a ride !
Wheels were perfect thou !
