Hey Simon, It's back at the shop cause John wanted to check nothing had come loose at 200 miles he found the front axle we had fabricated had a low spot on it and might have caused problems so wanted to sort it before I rode it any more, that was on Wednesday so I've been bike less all weekend. I'll call him tomorrow and see what's going on cause there's a couple of sunny days mid week according to the forecast. It's funny cause after you sugested this forum it seemed to ring a bell and I was already a member.
Take it you did a few miles over the weekend?

It will look good with lowering blocks but it with running the Big Radius pipes you will be scraping them in the twisties. Form over function? Tough choice.
I did get out a little yesterday but only for some domestic chores, no big ride.
This idea of a meet up is spot on, I am going over to the Belfast custom show for the weekend in June, could this be a possibility? Some good rides in Northern Ireland and the ferry leaves from Birkenhead. Anyone that would like to could stay over here the night before?

Bars
I'd like to push em forward but I dont think I'll reach them comfortably, I'll get used to them first. Your bikes cool I've been checking it out too cause I've been waiting for it to be finished for ages and all i used to do was look at pic's from the net.

when i first adjusted my stock bars... i threw them all the way forward.. striaght vertical.
lol for a few days i felt like a friggin joker on my bike... but after getting acclimated (and seeing my bikes reflection in shop windows while passing... it just looked too mean to have it any other way rode entire day trips no stop with no problem.. etc... but im 6'2"
same deal with my forward control extensions (kuryakyn) i was almost close to taking the off because of how "wrong it felt" but got used to them after a few days... worst case scenario id say throw your bars forward man and test it out for a few days get used to the reach, and if it still feels wrong just throw um back... only 4 allen bolts

I rode 60 miles today and have decided those bars can go forward quite a bit, I'll get onto it ASAP

S100
Thanks for the comments. Has anyone tried any S100 cleaning products? I want to order some cleaner for my bike and was interested in the "S100 total Motorcycle Cleaner" and "S100 Wheel Cleaner" The chrome 80 spokes need to be kept on top of I reckon.
