Burly kit will slam you down low,,,,,,I love the look of a bob sitting that low and the ride really isn't that much more worse than stock,,,just a little stiffer,,,, Just might want to watch your speed in turns ,,,,pegs tend to drag alot sitting that low....

Dude, if you want to 'ride' that bike, dont listen to these clown's that want youy to drop the bike, till the frame is damn near scraping .
Drop that bike an inch, tops! It's not going to make your cut off fender look great, but your gona need to change fenders, or, change mounting points to do that!

LOL, Ya need ground clearance to ride! Your S.B was made, just for that!
Dont throw away what your bike was built for, just for appearance ! You did an awesome job on your stock fender, but unfortunately, thats what it is . It sit's high.
I'd either, drop it an inch, with shocks and be happy with it. Pull the fender and fill the stock holes, and mount the fender lower. OR, the best thing for your bike, would be to buy a Rocket Bob's Voodoo fender.
There's tradeoff's in everything we do to these machines, but dont throw away cornering, just for looks!

I dont have a lot of road to ride where I live, but, when I fire up the bike, I'm heading out the hi-way. I'm riding a road on the side of mountains, switchbacks, double switchbacks, the longest strait is mabe 1/3mi. Push myself and the machine to the limit, every time I ride it! ( cept when I'm hungover ).
I wear my tires equally. No flat spots on my tires !!

Yeah but now ya gotta hussle with a 240 & a wobbly rear fender
ok Apache, the way to slam it and keep ground clearance is lower 1" & re-lace to an 18"
there's always a solution, just depends how much money ya got & how deep into this ya wanna go. Personally I just plough everything I got into my scoot

I wore my tires once...no lamp shades were available at the time.
Anyhow, flatlanding or not, think about those evasive moves most of us must make in daily traffic. Go with the 1" as Ben suggested and if you're worried about the gap...get a fat chick to ride the fender to hide it.

Drop it. Drop it. Drop it. But use good shocks - at least Progressive 440s.

You dont 'have' to. Put the 11's on and see how it looks, rides.
BTW.... Those 11's will drop the rear closer to 1.5".
