Lloyds 06 Bob
first proper mock up with the back lowered 1.75" but no drop on the front etc, Voodoo Fender and the fat seat from another thread..
now i got it like this we fit the forks, remove the rear tank mount and lower the tank and black out the rest..
i got black rims for him,, but that 170 is so skinny and all wrong for the bike it needs something as its throwing everything off...
AND on this Bob there is an issue with motor/wheel alignement, so if ya reading this Lloyd,, we gotta talk

ok sk8 that seat is bad ass and a half
i might have to look into getting one... i think im a fan of the thicker... its looks so perfect .. especially for my big a#$. does it fit stock setups? or just the voodoo kit?
think youll make a pillion for it?
you lower the tank? how do you go about that?

yeah it fits stock and the normal thickness looks killer,, but that one pictured is seriously comfortable..
ok,, the tank this is a cool one. All my stuff fits short of the tank, i leave the whole seat running into the tank thing to baggers
But with the Dyna you got an ugly ass bracket on the rear for your tank AND the tank of a Dyna rides to high at the back to make the lines flow when you ditch the big ass seats.
So you cut the lugs off the back of the tank and with the tank removed you Disc Cut the fckin great big mount off the frame. The sand it smooth and paint. The console mount on your tank will now become you main tank mount. lay the tank back on the scoot and mark thro the console mount onto the frame ( remove the captive nut and launch it into a skip)
Drill the spine of the frame at least an 8mm tap . Then use a little rubber bush between the frame and the rear tank console mount. Run a short 8mm shroom head stainless bolt straight into the frame.
and there ya go,, the tank is lowered 6 - 8 mm and suddenly becomes a cool fit for the bike and the whole look is massively cleaned up
