Bit late but first ride of 2010 !
Winter here in Sweden has been long...too long ain't it Bosken ,but...could'nt take it any longer and as the skies were blue and the main roads finally dry I wheeled the Bob out and fired her up... SAAAAHWEEEEEET ! Temp was just plus 2,best it's been since last november but WTF,just had to do it , nimbly does it between the ice patches through the village and up to the main drag...couple of miles warming the engine then let rip ... Just wanted to let you guys know my seasons started...
Has yours yet ????
Plus pic of my A/C mod

Finally got mine out for a short ride today. Felt great. Streets here are pretty sloppy as we still have a lot of snow on the ground. But we hit 45F today.

MINE HAS! Just finished installing a ThunderMax w/Auto-tune. Runs 1,000 times better than the SERT and hauls ass! Lots of salt still on the ground so I'm going to have to do a toothbrush-level cleaning very soon. Either case... let's ride!

You find that the TM is better ? What was up with the SE... I have the SERT on mine with no probs ..How did the paint story on your bike end ? Read about it..had the same prob in the ignition area but just put it down to the key fob and ignored it..but that what you had on your rear fender

Bike runs SO MUCH smoother with the TM. More power. Don't have to change gears up or down as often. Bike even starts faster. I'm amazed. And I'm looking forward to how it handles hot, humid weather - where my bike performs like ass with the SERT. The HD stock EFI is garbage, IMO. Set the AFR target to 13.5. Might play around but 13.5 seems about right to me. Went for a long ride without baffles and with baffles - bike adjusted automatically and you could feel the difference - in the sense that it never popped and always just felt right. That's wide band... always adjusting.
The paint on my frame is a common thing Harley wants nothing to do with fixing. The paint on my rear fender is still garbage, but I'm going to repaint my tank and rear fender this summer so I've decided not to fight. I talked with a guy at HD though and he said the denim paint is weak because of no clear coat - as was noted on this forum - and said that if push comes to shove he can probably get me a used rear fender in new condition just to swap - but that's knowing the guy. So who knows.
