It's just a word to describe the things bolted to the end of the pipes but if I could get upswept I'd bolt these on the end just for the retro look

still, who needs silencers? ..... its all about seein those flames! especially on those bitchin back fires! haha (not really) one of my buds went to autozone and replaced his "silencers" with those 5$ "muffler tips", i could always see flames hittin the ground when ridin behind him.

At the mo' am running Big Radius 2-2.... last time I checked there were'nt any silencers but lucky that here in Sweden the fuzz is'nt that bothered so long as you behave in town.Germany is a different story,if you get stopped in a police control and you ain't got the originals on they can impound your ride, fine you and make you walk home...chanced riding there last summer and got away with it lucky enough but they're tightening up their act

man, i cant express how great it is knowing how many H-D's are gettin ridden across the BIG river. especially bobs!
i guess i assumed 99.9% was b.s.a., norton, truimph, and royal enfield, all that kind of metric hooplah.
although i do have to admit i do dig the metric stuff that goin on :-)

Sk8rod has a way of hijacking the topic ... like the way he threw in that bit about Spain and Rocket Bobs ... So Spain had nothing to do with it ... until ... well ... the thread pirate used it to hijack once again!
