this is the fender strut setup,, the one in the pic has just been welded up in the jig ( not shown ) and now needs finishing before going off to powder. But basically what you see here is how the mini struts attach, the shock mounts bolt through the large hole in the struts and then the cross brace and plate sits against the rear sub frame, unseen.
The cool thing is the height of the fender can be changed with shims that bolt onto the wedge shaped plate you can see the cross braces attach to. So the customer can vary the height of the fender in relation to the tire depending on what shocks, wheel width, passenger etc etc hes using...
OK, so this is literally just taken from the jig and put outside, its totally raw and all blued up from the MIG. It needs a whole lot of finishing to get a dead perfect finish prior to powder but ya get the idea, oh and the thin bar towards the end of the struts is just to keep the metal from drawing up, its not a feature :

Nice setup !
So the thin bar at the end of the struts gets removed .
How wide a rubber fits between them?

yup,, that bar was just there as it all cooled,, in the jig the struts are bolted up as welding something like that pulls all the angles.. the little bar in the pix is just wedged in there..
you could run a 240 on a bob with this fender kit..

Really .
Dont know how much wider the new frames are from my vintage, but my new struts run straight from the shock mounts. As in, there's no jog in to them.

ok ok,, that one in the pic is for a 200 - 220 tire
the struts have a 35 degree thing going on..
if a customer wanted to run a 240, then decrease the angle in the jig and bada bing there ya go

Yup there's a matching front fender. Starts about 1" behind the forks and rolls to about 5-6" in front with mini side struts from 3mm, similar shape to rear.
I've just not had time to finish it

Pricing
Sk8, how much for one to fit an 06 SB? USD price, please. Tried reading your website, but I'm American, and we don't believe in learning other people's languages, haha. Awesome parts and bikes on your site, keep it up!
