Warrs Street Bob McQueen style
y'all seen this from Boskens post:
website: http://www.warrs.com/harley-davidson...racker5788.php
well i was there today and in the workshop they were putting the finishing touches on another custom Bob. check out the pix, there are some great touches, like the rear hugger/fender mounts, the tank, forks, etc... AND in real life it looks sweet...
but they have missed some areas,, like shock spacing, where i cut down a pair of BMX stunt pegs they have left it plain and it looks crap,, where they lopped off the struts is pretty badly done AND they still insist on going with a sprung sadle??
however,, its pretty damn cool that a HD dealership is modding like this and prepared to break out the Disc Cutter !!(excuse the pix, iphone has a beyond crap camera)
and my scoot outside!

Nice to see a dealer is thinking outside the box and making some modifications that weren't directed by the MoCo

Damn straight Mike,,
BUT these "customs" are available to the public as fully warranted new machines,, so i guess they have to meet all transport regs on new vehicles
also the dude tells me they fit side mount plates,, but they have to be full size

That's a gorgeous bike! Gold looks great on Street Bobs. Now that we all know my paint is in the shits (whether it's the MoCo's fault or mine) I've been drumming plans that involve matte gold or copper. We'll see. $$$$. I really like this bike!

The second bike is probably one of my fav bobs besides Boskens and Sk8s. I'm going to order a trailer fender and try to find some similar fender braces. The funny thing is that I was just thinking of doing something similar, no BS. lol
Anyone know good cheap fender braces? I origianlly wanted to mount them via the lower shock bolt and was stoked to actually see it done.

I have to say I like the one Bos posted more than that one, it looks shabby as hell where they cut the fender mounts off, did you show then yours? Maybe once its finished it won't be so obvious but with a sprung seat I can't see that it'll get hidden.
One more word... Bars... well?

Yeah if you cut anything off it needs to look like it was never there. The way they lopped the struts off looks like struts that have been lopped off
it's the same with the tank mount and a bunch of other doo dabs, they don't seem to be to cool on the detail. The paint and chit like the forks and other bolt ons are relied upon to make the bike work.
That and the fact that it's a Warrs built HD !

Does that hugger only mount from the shock bolt? Does the hugger also go all the way down to the swingarm? It's hard to see.
