It says something like this:
Paul´s working on his Street Bob. And yes, it will get a rear fender.
The word 'snickrar' is 'knock' or 'carpenter' in english but I guess 'work' is a better word in yankee ears.

I found those helmets a complete insult to anyone who dare wear them in the free world, just my thoughts on German or Nazi helemts.

You are right, don´t like what the helmets is "associated" with but love the design of it.
It´s a bit similar to the Malteser cross, love the design of it but poople often connects them to the Nazi cross... Which is wrong.. It´s a an old knight symbol, midevil time. The 12 knights....

hey all things have been plagiarized,, and the germans from that era were no exception,, swastika a peace symbol from south america and a bllion other examples, and the helmet design has had its lineage traced back to the vikings and thats the Swedes,, so Bosken is wearing his native style

No offense meant, I mean if you're gonna wear a helmet like that I believe a short black mustache should be displayed with it. (Getting the matching plastic glasses and oversized nose with)

Hi Guys, I am taking a break from my enforced study absence for an hour and catching up with the gossip! I will be back properly in 7 days. Until then I might continue to sneek an occasional surreptitious iphone peek!
Anyway in terms of helmets I am currently lusting after this ..... http://www.exclusivehelmets.com/st_germain.html
Expensive but a design classic.

Hej Bos... first time I seen the pic since you told me about it lol yor Bob looked good in the pic ... I like that helmet style too and got one for summer use.Its actually a well designed shape even for on a bike, the peak keeps a lot of sun out of your eyes and surprisingly enough theres not a lot of wind turbulance and the wind does'nt try and rip it of your head at 120kmph .That design has been around for as long as Harley(see attached pic of my uncle Franz from 1942 ) and that same shape is used today by the US ,not to piss people off but 'cos it's a good design,it's a shame some dudes especially in Germany have'nt got over the past..only have to say the word Wehrmacht there and you get crucified

There's a helmet guy over at Cook's Corner on the weekends with a booth. Not sure if they have them that large but they definitely have novelties. Otherwise there's a place near Orange County HD in Irvine ... can't remember the name but it is on Lake Forest just below the freeway. He's got everything from helmets boots Kuryakin stuff etc ... nice shop (note: NOT cyclegear.com which is nearby)
