Hard water spots
How in the hell can you get hard water spots off your finish I have a Vivid black Ultra, use good washing and wax products (Mcquires), rinse it good but can't seem to get rid of them. Someone out here knows.

I use Bike Bright and a leaf blower. Spray on the bike bright, rinse it off real good and then blow the remaining water off the bike with the leaf blower. I then just take a soft terry cloth towel and wipe off the chrome. Apply wax at that point if needed.
I think T100 is another brand, but I've found no difference in it and Bike Bright.

some will laugh, but i use the mr clean auto wash system. it does a great job of filtering tap water.
wash with regular water, and rinse with this filter.
i can wash my truck in 90 degree weather, no drying, and no water spots.

when i had my powder coating shop, i deionized my post cleaning rinse water.
always used a tub of that for rinsing vehicles too - it's the same principle.

Best way to get them off the finish is to avoid them from the start. Keep up OJ

I've never used one on my bike. I like just spraying the bike bright on, rinsing and then taking the leaf blower and blowing the water off. I'm gonna try that stuff that joker mentioned earlier.

Same here. I have bad hard water and the Mr. Clean takes care of it.

I have been using them for years and you have seen some of the cars I have had. They never did anything to the paint.

We have really hard water here in SoCal and Arizona. When we clean the boat in Az, I use a mixture of 1/3 white vinegar, 1/3 window cleaner, and 1/3 water. The hard water spots are alkali in the water, the vinegar is acidic and neutralizes it. Works great. On the bikes I use a 1500psi pressure washer connected to my water softener. Dry with a leaf blower then wax with McGuires.
