I want a Sportster tank on my Bob
So one thing I'm not keen about on the Street Bob is how the rear fender doesn't really flow with the gas tank. Explained, the rear fender isn't rounded like the gas tank; it has a sort of step on the sides. I like this design, but not in combination with the bulb-like gas tank. What I want is a Sportster-looking gas tank with the same lip/step as the fender. Anyone know where I can snag something like that? I'm thinking 3 gallons, maybe 3.5. I want it to come up pretty high to, and not sink too low below the frame rail.
And just because Pete is going to come in here and change the subject:

Yes. No tanks that look like the rear fender. Just standard Sportster tanks and none that will automatically fit my Dyna. I don't have SK8's customization skills... yet.

check out Licks,, and easyriders (japan)
but Licks is gonna be your best bet,,
WW maybe also
and Bos is a dealer for these fellas..
dont go to Exile as youll end up paying 1200 for raw
IMO, ditch the rear fender,, but hey its your scoot.. ya know i would take the Ts off the price of a Voodoo
and always mount a peanut high,, fatbob low,, thats the rule ok

Nobody has the exact tank I want. Surprises me that nobody has made a tank that would be consistent with the rear fender of a Dyna. At first I thought the rear fender stood out. But I like it. Then I realized the tank is way too round and tear drop looking to rightfully be associated with the rear fender; or on a Bobber motorcycle, come to think of it. I have always been complaining about my tank! I guess I'll have to pony up and have someone fab it for me. Probably a good idea; have to get the pump in there.

I like to have a fender that goes down the sides of the tire. Aight! Voodoo fender looks good and all... but I make the bike look good. I don't need a fender to do so. I need a gas tank. I'm gassy.
So... WRONG!
