They're here! Custom 14" apes made by Tom of Deep Six Cycles!!!
Check 'em out!! Might be a little wide, but that's easy to trim and I expect them to be... so it's not at all an issue... just mentioning. Better, much better, than being too narrow. Once I get my bike out of storage, I'll post the entire install here with a good series of pictures (and I'll need help... so help me). I'll need to do some drilling for wire running purposes so I might be rigging something up to pull that off. I know I always say I'll post install pictures, but I have lots of parts to install this spring so... lots of pictures. I promise. Otherwise I will French kiss SK8. Anyway... check 'em out! Nice shirt Tom included, too!

Might be. Need to put on the controls and test mount is all. Just seem... wide.

Tom is da bomb, ain't no doubt
if you make them real narrow it's just gonna look sick,, have ya thought about ditching the big HD switch gear, coz the less you run on those bars the better it's gonna look.

They seem wide as hell to me. But they are the width of the "production" bars. Or should I say, the posted dimensions of the production bars. But what do I know my line of bars run 22" across the top for those mirror scraping white lining runs... After having done this 1st set for Nick the Boom Boom any others will be much easier (and faster). The production ones are wide as hell. Trust me Ive seen many pictures! Glad they are being dug on! Delete any excess after your sure you don't need it! And P.S. I would rather see pics of your build progress than one of you slobberin on Sk8!!! I couldnt find the barfing smiley!

I have but don't know what I'd do for switches and what not...

well this is just me,, but i am going to be changing bars a lot, so i want to ditch the switches anyway..
i dont have a horn on the Bob, never use the turns, but want them on for the alarm etc and besides the Kellermanns are so trick
so i am going to put a bunch of micro switches under the electrical caddy cover or under the rear of the tank,, someplace where they wont be seen and they will do the high beam and turns..
i have re-made the fuel pump cover on the tank so the speedo sits down into the tank and i can thus clean up the lines and run a minimal console, so on there I will put one of those flip cover toggle switches as the starter/kill
still gonna run fat grips,, but will go for Joker Machine mini controls & levers in black..
thats it
